POMIDA carried out a series of informative events and contacts in Northern Greece and Thessaly from February 26 to March 1, 2024 in collaboration with the local its unions and local bodies (TEE Thrace and Bar Associations), for the information of property owners but also lawyers, notaries, engineers, tax experts, brokers, insurers, etc., in view of the recent legislative developments concerning private real estate, real estate leases, real estate transactions, land registration, construction, capital and income taxation and home insurance.

Thessaloniki is preparing to experience a dynamic three-day exhibition from 10 to 12 November 2023, with the organization of the 2nd Real Estate Expo North, at the International Exhibition & TEF – HELEXPO Conference Center, in stand 16.

The Real Estate Expo North is the only real estate and investment fair, giving domestic and international investors the opportunity to explore the real estate market in Northern Greece. In parallel with the organization of the 38th Philoxenia – Hotelia, the international hospitality exhibition for hotel, restaurant and catering professionals, participants will have the opportunity for networking and professional agreements.

After the great success of Athens, the Real Estate Expo is making an appointment with the industry professionals in Thessaloniki, from 18 to 20 November 2022 Real Estate Expo North is hosted at the 37th International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia – Hotelia, at the International Exhibition & TEF Conference Center – HELEXPO, at stand 16.

The 39th Panhellenic Property Owners Conference was held with great success. Positions of the representatives of the government and the opposition.

The main speaker of the event will be the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr.Theodoros Skylakakis >who will refer to the matters of his competence concerning private real estate and its development, the financing of urban renewals and urban planning studies by the Recovery Fund, and their consequences for the economy and society. 

On the occasion of the current changes in the procedure for declaring and paying landlords’ compensations from rent reductions, POMIDA organized an informative online tax seminar on Monday, March 8, 2021, 4.00-7.00 pm .m., with all the current issues concerning property owners and their tax experts:

* Declarations of leases & COVID. Corrections and necessary changes

* Real estate leases: Legal framework and leases

POMIDA immediately at the start of the health crisis predicted that government intervention would be inevitable in favor of businesses and households – renters who would be affected by its countermeasures, which with in turn, they would turn the lessors of these properties into serious victims. That is why with her continuous interventions and her unceasing effort, she requested and managed to secure from the government compensations that have gradually increased since last March and currently reach up to 80% of the rent, and already the reopening of the platform for declarations of reductions of 2020.
