As POMIDA had requested, and as announced for the first time in its webinar of 18.6.2020, the Independent Public Revenue Authority, by decision of the Governor of Ms. Giorgos Pitsilis announced on 19.6 the extension of the deadline for submitting Covid Declarations (decision A.1139/2020) for real estate lessors until Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Accordingly, the deadline for property tenants is extended to Monday, July 6, 2020.
The AADE platform has been activated for rent reduction declarations (deadline until June 22) and the updating of lease agreements. POMIDA is organizing an online information seminar for its members on the afternoon of Thursday, June 18, from 5 p.m., about these issues as well as the corrections of real estate areas on the KEDE platform, with the presenters being the most competent tax experts. The details of joining and watching the seminar will be announced shortly on our website and in a newsletter to our members.
Double justification of POMIDA’s struggle are the special arrangements for leases established by decision of the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, Mr. Giorgos Pitsilis, which will be published immediately in the gazette. The regulations are the result of POMIDA’s painstaking struggle in order to have the state recognize the loss of income of the owners due to the crisis and establish their partial compensation. With the decision of the AADE, the government’s commitment to tax exemption for owners who suffered a forced 40% reduction in rent due to the coronavirus, who thanks to the fight of POMIDA, will pay a lower ENFIA and/or income tax this year. The decision also foresees changes to the obligation to declare changes to rental offices on my TAXISnet only when this is necessary.

The electronic platform for submitting corrections of the square of KEDE (https://tetragonika.govapp .gr/)in order for the citizens to be able to benefit from the beneficial provision as well as for the Municipalities to process these statements effectively, it continues its operation and the participation of the applications for the correction of the square meters is huge, a percentage of around 35%.
Law 4690/2020 was published in Official Gazette 104 A’/30.5.2020, which sanctioned: a) from 13.4.2020 P .N.P. “Measures to deal with the ongoing consequences of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and other urgent provisions” (A΄ 84) and b) of the 1.5.2020 P.N.P. “Further measures to address the ongoing consequences of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and the return to social and economic normality” (A’ 90) and other provisions.
The amendment establishing an inadequate and literally narrow-minded tax credit for landlords who have lost and continue to lose a state-mandated 40% of revenue from rents, it obviously does not satisfy the legitimate expectations and real needs of the country’s property owners, nor does it restore the terrible blow that the real estate market and private real estate in our country received, when it was trying to get back on its feet!
POMIDA, in a letter to the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis, requests that the deadline for the legalization of any kind of arbitrary, data and economic conditions that prevailed during the last quarter in the country and the inability of citizens and engineers to collect the required documents, as well as not to activate any procedure for imposing fines on citizens who will come to declare their properties until 31.12.2020, regardless of the time of expiry of individual land registration deadlines…
POMIDA, in a letter to Mr. Panagiotis Theodorikakos, requests that the operation of the completely successful KEDE platform for the declaration of correction of the T.M. be extended until 31.12.2020. of their properties, with the simultaneous cancellation of retroactive debts to the local authorities, as well as to add some features that are missing from the electronic application of KEDE to serve the citizens…
