POMIDA TO AADE: THANKS AND MARK PENDING LANDLORDS COMPENSATION!

SUBJECT: Thanksgiving and Hardeening Compensation of Compensation for the Menters.

Dear Directors

On behalf of the POMIDA Board of Directors, all property owners with reductions in the rents of their properties due to COVID measures, and personally, we express our warmest thanks both to you personally and to the officers of the Authority who toil day and night under adverse conditions, for the implementation of the most difficult project of ensuring the interactivity of your Authority’s Leasing platform, which we had proposed in the context of the cooperation of our executives, so that today the COVID declarations from January onwards are submitted based on what the various categories of tenants are actually entitled to as a rent reduction.

We would like to take this opportunity to briefly point out to you those points where further improvements are needed in the above application so that, in any case:

  • To see the tenant’s spouse as well, when the former is suspended.
  • To see not only the tax identification number of each tenant but above all the type of each lease.
  • To see the head office and also the branch of the closed/affected business and write down the correct percentage of reduction (100% or 40%).   

Also our basic and immediate requests are as follows:

  • Property owners should be informed by messages about the reasons for rejecting their declarations for the ten months of March-December 2020 and be given a monthly deadline for correcting declarations so that no one loses compensation for formal errors and oversights.
  • To complete the compensation payments for the months of November and December 2020.
  • To complete the liquidations and payments with multiple co-owners or properties.
  • To grant an extension for the January-February declarations until the end of March.
  • Emphasis should be placed on the interpretation of the current provisions on real estate subleases.
  • The declarations should be classified by name or tenant’s VAT number for the convenience of all.
