The action can include buildings used as a main residence, whose owners are subsidized according to income criteria according to the relevant Guide. Taking out a loan whose interest is subsidized is also optional. The action also includes incentives for interventions in apartment buildings and common areas. The applications of those interested will be made online through the official web portal of the Program on the website of the Ministry of Energy.
It is recalled that “Save-Autonomous” will have a budget of 850 million .euro and will remain “open” until the resources available per region are exhausted. The program budget includes grant resources of €803 million (distributed by region according to the table below) and resources from the existing Fund of the Save at Home II program for loan servicing. As POMIDA has emphasized, this is a “drop in the ocean” in relation to the real needs, but also to the obligation that will gradually be imposed on the owners of all existing buildings to renovate them, whether they can or not, with tragic results in burden of society…
HELP DESK YΠEN. The special citizen service line (helpdesk) for the “Save-Self-Employment” program has already been opened, with the aim of better informing and preparing those interested. Those interested can contact the telephone number 210 6241829 (20 lines), which will operate every day – working days – from 07.00 in the morning to 21:00 at night. It is noted that the helpdesk starts earlier and is more expanded compared to the previous cycles of “Escoonamo”, in order to respond to the increased size of the program and to cover the information needs for the changes foreseen. The telephone service will cover not only the “basic” questions (who are the beneficiaries, instructions for submitting the application, etc.) but also specialized topics about the eligible interventions, the use of the platform, etc. which will be answered by engineers and specialized technical consultants. Free service and support of POMIDA members to find an experienced and reliable energy inspector, if the interested party so desires, for the timely performance of the energy inspection of the property and the issuance of the relevant energy performance certificate. The Energy Inspector’s fee for issuing the two energy performance certificates (one upon submission of the application and one upon completion of the interventions) is a 100% eligible expenditure of the program and amounts to:
- for detached house & single apartment at €75 + €2.5*square meter and in any case it cannot exceed €400 (including VAT).
- for an apartment building at €75 + €1.7*square meter and in any case it cannot exceed €1095 (with VAT).
The energy inspector’s fee for the first performance certificate which is a condition for the submission of the application is paid in advance by the interested party to the energy inspector and upon completion of the interventions the interested party is compensated for 100% of his costs by the program.
The energy inspector’s fee for the second performance certificate is paid directly by the scheme to the energy inspector.
Full support ofPOMIDA members as Project Consultantsin the submission of the funding application and the monitoring of each project until the final disbursement from the Program. Planet’s fee for these services (amounting to 350 euros including VAT), is 100% covered by the Program, and this amount is paid directly to Planet by the Program without chargeto the interested party.
Free support of POMIDA members in obtaining an interest-free loan from the National Bank (NBG) for 4, 5 or 6 years. Specifically, Planet will support the interested party throughout the lending process and without burden of the interested party will provide the following:
- service from specialized staff for the required supporting documents and conditions for obtaining a loan and submitting the loan request to NBG
- continuous monitoring of the approval of the loan request by NBG and relevant information to the beneficiary
Free service and facilitation for POMIDA members to find experienced and reliable builders’ workshops to carry out all necessary eligible energy upgrade works, provided the interested party wishes it. Theremuneration of the manufacturer is partially paid by the Program(depending on the subsidy rate to which the interested party is entitled)and the remaining amount is paid by the interest-free loan that it will grant to the interested party the EBIT.
