POL.1162/2018 was published regarding the submission of Real Estate Leasing Information Statement on the website www.aade.gr, which introduces the following important changes and clarifications to current procedure for declaring the conclusion, but now also the termination, of real estate leases:

The continuous increase in electricity theft cases throughout the country has developed into a major social problem, a fact that led to the tightening of the relevant regulatory framework by the Energy Regulatory Authority (RAE), in order to deal with it more effectively.
The state continues to tax the real estate of households with different values, as a different value is applied for the enforcement of the ENFIA and another for the calculation of the transfer tax, i.e. the same property is taxed differently if it is to be sold and otherwise if it remains in the possession of its owner.
With the new increased, in most cases, zone prices the ENFIA 2018 will be calculated. This was decided in the context of the just concluded government and institutional negotiation on this issue.
The relevant agencies have been working recently doing simulation exercises based on the new proposed zone rates submitted by assessors for 10,600 zones across the territory in order to see if there are large discrepancies in the amounts to be collected in 2018 Public (2.65 billion euros).
The decision of the Minister of State for Internal Affairs, Mr. Giorgos Stathakis, concerning the static adequacy studies for the arbitrariness declared by the current law 4495/2017, was published in the Official Gazette.
According to what is provided for in this decision, a study static adequacy is required for every construction that belongs to one of the following cases, except for the cases of categories 1, 2 and 3 of article 96 and buildings of importance Σ1 according to the Greek Anti-Seismic Regulation (EAK):
A “half” solution to the problem of municipal fees for vacant and non-electrified properties is provided by the Ministry of the Interior with a provision in the bill for local self-government, which has been introduced in public consultation until 14 May 2018.
