The regulation also covers the case of tenants who have been granted for rent the use of a thing, movable or immovable, or both together, intended exclusively for professional use, in the context of financial lease, as well as the cases of principal residence leases of the employees of the above companies, for which, due to the extraordinary and special measures taken, the employment contract has been suspended.
With the provision, from April 1, the protection is extended to employees affected by the suspension of their employment contracts, so that they are entitled to a partial payment of rent in the lease contract of their main residence, not only those employed in a business whose operation was suspended or prohibited by state order, but also the workers, whose employment contract has been suspended, due to the fact that the company they work for has been affected by the health crisis.
