In vain the property owners, the most typical and genuine part of the “middle class”, are looking for the slightest nugget of tax relief in the provisions of the tax bill submitted for debate in the Parliament…

With his statement on the show of Giorgos Avtias of SKAI, the Government representative Mr. Stelios Petsas clarified that the deduction of 40% of the costs of energy, functional and aesthetic upgrading of buildings will be made from the tax, and not from the taxable income of the property owners.

POL.1162/2018 was published regarding the submission of Real Estate Leasing Information Statement on the website www.aade.gr, which introduces the following important changes and clarifications to current procedure for declaring the conclusion, but now also the termination, of real estate leases:

Property Managers are not required to submit Property Lease Information Statements (“electronic leases”) for short-term leases via digital platforms.

With the new increased, in most cases, zone prices the ENFIA 2018 will be calculated. This was decided in the context of the just concluded government and institutional negotiation on this issue. 

The relevant agencies have been working recently doing simulation exercises based on the new proposed zone rates submitted by assessors for 10,600 zones across the territory in order to see if there are large discrepancies in the amounts to be collected in 2018 Public (2.65 billion euros).
