POSITIVE RESULTS FROM THE RECENT INTERVENTIONS OF THE P.OM.IDA.A!

  • The declaration of non-electric properties, by the Minister of the Interior Mr. Panagioti Theodorikakos, where both were requests and proposals of POMIDA,but so far, despite the impressive numbers mentioned, the undeclared ones remain more than the declared ones due to the lack of information of the owners of the district and of Hellenism Abroad about these provisions and the consequences of the application of the previous legislation.  
  • The recent extension of the deadline for the submission of the administrative actsthat establish the exemption of real estate from the forest legislationby 25 days from the publication of the invitation of each Forest Directorate ) and
  • The current (until 30.9) three-month extension of the arbitrary settlement deadline, from the Minister of Environment Mr. Kosti Hatzidakis,
  • The reopening – a second chance literally – by decision of the Director of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, Mr. Giorgou Pitsili, in response to 20.7.2020 letterof POMIDA on this matter, and for the period from September 4th to September 23rd, 2020, the possibility of electronic submission of rent reduction declarations due to the emergency response measures of the consequences of the corona virus (Covid Declarations), to owners who missed the initial short deadline, namely:
  • a) initial declarations for those who missed the initial submission deadline for the months March to June 2020 and

    b) amending declarations for the months March to August 2020.

    The above deadline (23.9) applies and for any submission of the original or amending Real Estate Lease Information Statements, which must be submitted prior to the submission of the Covid Statements. Acceptance by lessees of the original March to June 2020 Covid Statements, as well as the March to August 2020 amendment Covid Statements, can be made up to October 1, 2020.

    1. The process of control, liquidation and compensatory return of the 30% rate of the forced rent reductionto which every owner who suffered it is entitled,and this was also a persistent request and success of POMIDA,which has already started and is expected to be completed gradually within the next month, through electronic netting with the upcoming income tax payments and ENFIA.
    2. The awareness, and soon we hope the legislation, by the competent Ministry of Finance, of the end of forced wage reductions and the bonus with a tax refund of at least 30% of the amount of voluntary rent reductions to be agreed between owners and tenants, based on their mutual interest and the preservation of of existing leases, businesses and jobs.
