POMIDA: CONTINUATION OF FORCED REDUCTIONS THROUGH ENFIA PAYMENT IS UNACCEPTABLE!

An emergency measure that essentially transferred the burden of -necessary- business support, instead of from the state budget, like all other support measures, to the owners of their business premises, unfortunately tends to become permanent, with fatal results for thousands of owners who are subjected to a new mandatory reduction of income without a corresponding limitation of their tax obligations, without any even rudimentary security for the collection of the balance of the rent due, and worst of all, due to the resulting revival of the “I don’t pay” phenomenon….

That is why the formulation of even thoughts about extending the measure of the forced reduction during September, the month of ENFIA payment and of the income tax, justly provokes the strong indignation of the affected owners from all over the country who these days are called to respond with absolute consistency to their multiple tax obligations or they will face the predicted harshest consequences.  

> moment the government appears to recognize the logic of POMIDA’s proposal, which provides an answer and a solution to the problem. A proposal that provides for the two sides to be free to proceed to mutually acceptable agreements where these are really necessary, with the incentive of a tax refund of at least 30% of the amount of voluntary reductions.

“It is also considered particularly provocative and unacceptable that this ongoing expropriation of property owners is publicly presented as a “provision” of the State to entrepreneurs when it is a forced expropriation of their income in favor of third parties, without full compensation, as stipulated by the Constitution .
