It is recalled that the plan of the new KYA that will govern the operation, maintenance and inspection of the installed elevators was recently submitted to public consultation.
The text of the relevant decision is as follows:
Article 1
The deadline of par. 2 of article 15 of the under items F.A/9.2/oc. 28425/1245/22.12.2008 of the decision of the Ministers of Economy and Finance – Development – Environment, Spatial Planning and Public Works: “Completion of provisions regarding the installation, operation, maintenance and safety of elevators” (B’ 2604), as this article was amended with article 1 of no. 68781/28.06.2019 (B’ 2760) decision of the Ministers of Economy and Development – Environment and Energy “Amendment of F.A/9.2/ o. with the installation, operation, maintenance and safety of the elevators”, within which the owners or managers or their legal representatives are required to have completed the prescribed registration procedure of the installed elevators, extends from its expiration until December 31 2022.
