In particular, our fellow citizens affected by the fires can, by submitting a single application, which constitutes at the same time a responsible declaration of Law 1599/1986 (A’ 75), as to the truth of its content, to request:
- advance housing allowance,
- the exemption from ENFIA
- financial support for household equipment
- financial support for damage to equipment, etc., suffered by businesses, agricultural holdings and non-profit legal entities.
The amount of the aid amounts to:
- 6,000 eurosfor compensation for household goods per residence,
- 8,000 eurosfor dealing with damages to businesses and non-profit organizations, including rural , livestock, poultry and pig farms, with facilities and 14,000 euros for housing assistance, to owners affected by the fires.
When submitting the application, the properties of the owners that, according to their E9 declaration, are located in the affected areas are shown and the owners declare, per property, the extent of the damage and the use (private use, lease, etc.).
At the same time, depending on the extent of the damage declared to have been suffered, these properties are included in the exemption from ENFIA.
Based on the data declared at each step of the application, the relevant subsidies are automatically calculated and at the end the total amount for each beneficiary is displayed.
As far as housing allowance for tenants is concerned, payment of the aid is done in two steps:
1on. The owner declares that the property is leased, referring to the relevant lease statement. Based on this, the first of the tenants (in case there is more than one) is determined, who will receive the total amount of compensation for the restoration of the home.
2one. The following day, the tenant is informed via a relevant email message that there is an application for him – a household goods compensation statement on the arogi.gov.gr, enters the platform, accepts the application and becomes a definitive beneficiary.
Please be reminded that:
- the deadline for submitting applications is September 30, 2021.
- once it is finally submitted, the application can only be modified within the same day.
- For the payment of the financial aid, the beneficiaries need to have declare their bank account (IBAN) in myTAXISnet of AADE.
Note that the application is issued in a pdf file with a qr code , so that its validity is immediately confirmed.

In order to provide the fastest and greatest possible relief to our fellow citizens who are being tested, we are acting promptly, immediately compensating and bravely supporting the households, businesses and areas affected by the major fires.
