As the Deputy Minister mentioned, “taking into account the significant increase in tax-free parental benefits announced by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from the floor of the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki – an announcement that led to a large volume of new property transfers – combined with the new objective property values that will apply from 1 January 2022 and assessing reports of thePanhellenic Federation of Real Estate Ownersn, Notaries, as well as the technical world, we extend the validity of the engineer’s certificate until December 31, 2021. We enable citizens to take advantage of the beneficial new data, however it becomes clear that this extension will also be the last”.
From the new year all operations will be mandatory through the issuance of the Electronic Building Identity.
Finally, as it became known, the extension to the engineer’s certificate is expected to be sanctioned immediately with a relevant legislative regulation.

In announcement of the Ministry of the Interior states that by decision of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Kosta Skrekas, a legislative regulation granting a three-month extension of validity of an engineer’s certificate, until 31.12.2021, is submitted immediately. It is emphasized that this is also the last extension given.
