*RENT REDUCTION. The new law 4722/2020 was published in the Government Gazette on the forced extension of the 40% reduction in certain categories of commercial rents and residences, as well as on the tax premium for optional reductions > rents by at least 30% (POMIDA proposal). After its publication, the ministerial decisions will be issued that will identify the two categories of the KAD that fall under the new regulations. POMIDA considers that the mandatory reductions should be completely abolished and the optional reductions should be subsidized more effectively, where there is a real need to support businesses .
* TEF. The Prime Minister’s basket had something for everyone, except the property owners… He had absolutely nothing, not even a “thank you” for the burden they have borne and continue to bear, for what has been taken from them, and continues to be taken away, with unacceptable way that does not characterize a favored state. Too bad… too bad really…
* APPLY TO STE FOR FOREST MAPS. An appeal to the Council of State (StE) against the decision of the Ministry of the Environment to reform all forest maps from scratch, excluding many categories of land, was filed by the Panhellenic Union of State Foresters (PEDDY) and the Geotechnical Chamber (GEOTEE), while other similar ones will follow. This development is very likely to lead to a “freezing” of forest maps for a long period of time. The issue is of great interest to POMIDA and to property owners with properties that must be excluded from forest maps due to previous legal actions by the administration, e.g. building permits before 1975, State concessions etc.
* ENFIA 2020 CLEARANCES. It is expected that their posting will be delayed for a few days, due to the ENFIA exemption for the 26 remote islands. Typically at the same amounts as last year’s levels.
* COVID REFUND. The compensatory return of 30% of the rent reduction due to COVID-19 (proposal-success POMIDA) is expected to be implemented soon by AADE, possibly before the date of payment of the first installment of ENFIA. If this does not become technically feasible in whole or in part, it will be implemented with the October payment.
*POMIDA ONLINE TAX SEMINAR. Exclusively for its members and after all, POMIDA prepares with the participation of the most authoritative tax experts, as soon as the offsetting return of 30% of rent reductions due to COVID is activated. Members will be notified with the newsletter that will be sent to their email address.
*MARTIOY-IOYNIOY COVID REDUCTION STATEMENT. On 23.9 the deadline for the declaration of the reductions of COVID 19 for the four months of March-June 2020 expires, after an extension achieved by POMIDA. No further extension will be granted.
*DECLARATION OF LEASING DETAILS – SOLUTIONS. On 30.9 the deadline for the registration of the details of old leases on the AADE platform without penalty expires (before 1.1.2014), of the extensions and terminations of the leases that were registered in the relevant application. At the request of many of our members as well as tax professionals from all over the country, POMIDA will request an extension of the relevant deadline.
*MUNICIPAL FEES. On September 30, the deadline for declaring undeclared property areas and non-electrified properties on the KEDE platform without penalty (all POMIDA proposals) expires. No further extension will be granted. Then … the chaos…
*ARBITRARY. On September 30, the deadline for the declaration of large arbitrary constructions without a building permit expires, the Ministry of the Interior announced that no extension will be given for the legalization of large arbitrary buildings.
*CATALOGY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ATHENS. On 1.10.2020 the pre-posting of cadastral records in the Municipality of Athens ends. Those interested must enter the website www.ktimatologio.gr with their TAXISNET passwords and check the correctness of their property information, easily making any necessary correction.
*CATALOGUE: CORRECTION OF DOCUMENTS. On 31.12.2020 the deadline for the judicial correction of the incorrect first entries in all the old cadastral programs expires. The State is asking for an extension of time to continue claiming the private properties. POMIDA protested the continued uncertainty of citizens about their properties and requested that any extension given to the State should also apply to every interested individual. He also again requested the resolution of the ownership problem of properties outside the plan, with a time limit on the claims of the public. Informal consultation continues on the effective abolition of off-plan building, which devalues private property without compensation. POMIDA requested the withdrawal of all the relevant regulations of the bill, which surprise citizens and the validity of today’s provisions until the more special conditions and restrictions are finalized in each region of the country, just as the Technical Chamber of Greece also proposes.
