POMIDA sent a letter to the political leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the AADE on the occasion of the recent decision A.1225/2021 of the Governor of the AADE by which new deadlines are given for declarations of lessors of sublet properties , which inevitably foreshadows a new delay in the payment of compensations, but also the constant protests of real estate lessors and their tax experts from all over the country that their legally prescribed compensations have not been paid even though there is no formal omission on their part.

REQUEST OF BODIES FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE CURRENT PROPERTY TRANSFER SYSTEM!

The Coordinating Committee of Notarial Associations of Greece (SESSE) and POMIDA issued the following announcement:

With the from 08.12.2021 joint request of the Plenary Assembly of the Bar Associations of Greece, the Coordinating Committee of the Notarial Associations of Greece, GSEVEE, OMCOE, OMASE and POMIDA, i.e. all the Bodies we are associated with transactions and legal transactions on real estate, we had pointed out in time the System’s inability to respond to the huge demand, caused mainly by the increase in property values since the new year, for real estate transactions until the end of the previous year. In order for the system to be able to respond to the increased demand for real estate transfers within a reasonable period of time, we proposed a six-month extension of the current real estate transfer framework until 31.12.2021, pointing out that the Greek State has much more to gain from this extension, as it will collect income from the transactions that will be completed, while on the contrary, many unfinished notarial acts will be referred to the “Greek Calendars” as they will no longer be considered profitable for the transactions.

POMIDA TO THE MINISTER: IMMEDIATE NEED TO UPGRADE RENTED AND VACANT HOMES THROUGH “SAVE”!

Letter requesting the immediate inclusion in EXOIKONOMO of the upgrading of rented homes, but also of empty homes that will then be available for a main residence, with the same subsidy rate provided for other categories, and not with the reduced rate of 40% with which the tenants are essentially “punished”, POMIDA sent again to the Minister of the Environment Mr. Kosta Skrekas in order to upgrade houses occupied by tenants – victims of “energy poverty”. POMIDA, following up on its previous statements, concludes in its letter that the fair equalization of the subsidy to “SAVE” will be an important incentive for upgrading the rental, but also the empty building potential of the country, which will increase the supply of housing, something that our society absolutely and immediately needs!

POMIDA TO THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE: TO ABOLISH THE SUPPLEMENTARY TAX OF ENFIA!

POMIDA requested that the political leadership of the Ministry of Finance propose to the Prime Minister the abolition of the supplementary tax of ENFIA, in view of his speech at the D.E.T. In its letter, POMIDA pointed out the agreed positive recommendations of IOBE and the Pissarides Committee regarding the direct beneficial effect of the abolition of the additional tax on reconstruction, the National Economy and society in general, but also the fiscal possibility of its abolition stemming from the increase and the expansion of the system of objective values in many regions of the country. This will partially limit the fierce looting of private real estate, which manifests itself in income taxation and many other and constantly increasing burdens.
