POMIDA’S PROPOSALS FOR THE HOUSING BILL IN PARLIAMENT!
Three proposals of POMIDA to increase the supply of housing were presented by the president of the Federation, Mr. Stratos Paradias, during his intervention today in the competent Social Affairs Committee of the Parliament where the s.n. is discussed of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs “My house – housing policy for young people”.
Mr. Paradias stated that the bill in the right direction, because it does not adopt rent-based, but substantive measures, but it requested in addition:
- Reduction of income tax on principal residence rents by ten units and on three applicable tax brackets, so that taxation is not only fairer, but also an irresistible incentive for housing to be made available for permanent, instead of short-term, rental.
