TEF 2021: THE POMIDA FOR MEASURES FOR PROPERTY OWNERS!

Particular and important were the references of the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his speech at the opening of TIF 2021, to the following measures in favor of property owners, who bore and still bore enormous tax burdens:

7.5 MILLION EUROS TO 15,000 OWNERS FOR JULY REDUCTIONS. 764 EC. TOTAL OWNER REFUNDS!

The AADE platform is open for the July declarations. Credit of a total amount of 7.5 million euros to 15,805 property owners (natural and legal persons) for reduced rents in July 2021 and to 359 beneficiaries of State Aid. On September 7, 2021, the Ministry of Finance paid a total amount of 7.5m. euros , to property owners, for reduced rents for the month of July 2021. In particular, the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of 15,805 property owners were credited with a total amount of 5.96 million euros, with which the State covers up to 80% of the rent reduction for July 2021. Of the above amount, 4.59m. euros concern 14,985 natural persons and 1.37 million euros concern 820legal entities.

POMIDA TO THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE: TO ABOLISH THE SUPPLEMENTARY TAX OF ENFIA!

POMIDA requested that the political leadership of the Ministry of Finance propose to the Prime Minister the abolition of the supplementary tax of ENFIA, in view of his speech at the D.E.T. In its letter, POMIDA pointed out the agreed positive recommendations of IOBE and the Pissarides Committee regarding the direct beneficial effect of the abolition of the additional tax on reconstruction, the National Economy and society in general, but also the fiscal possibility of its abolition stemming from the increase and the expansion of the system of objective values ​​in many regions of the country. This will partially limit the fierce looting of private real estate, which manifests itself in income taxation and many other and constantly increasing burdens.

EXTENSION OF DEADLINES FOR COVID STATEMENTS AND PROPERTY LEASES!

The Independent Inland Revenue Authority announces the extension, until 30 September 2021, of the deadline for submitting initial/amendment returns:

  1. Real Estate Lease Information from real estate lessors, subject to the termination of the lease agreement being declared by June 12, 2020.
  2. Covid and/or Real Estate Lease Information from lessors/sublessors real estate in the event that they receive a relevant notice from the Tax Administration to correct their errors or omissions.
  3. Covid and/or Real Estate Lease Information, for January through May 2021, from lessors/sublessors of real estate.

POMIDA TO FINANCE: RENT REDUCTION: PENDING AND PROPOSALS AUGUST 2021!

POMIDA communicated in a letter to the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the AADE the existing outstandings for the month of August 2021 of the rent reduction process as well as its proposals for solving the individual remaining problems of compensation for property owners.

The letter points out the need for the immediate offsetting of the unclaimed remaining compensations from the new income and ENFIA debts of the owners, opening the platform for March-October 2020 declarations, issuing the decision for the August KAD, paying the July 2021 compensations, a few days extension of the deadline for COVID declarations that expires on 27.8, adding the “Active Leases” option to the AADE application so that it immediately emerges for which old leases must be declared their termination, and finally, in the “Results of Processing of COVID Declarations” application, the image is restored of the 2020 COVID declarations, to facilitate taxpayers in the preparation of their tax declarations.

THE PLATFORM FOR THE COMPENSATION OF FIRES VICTIMS IS IN OPERATION!

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the online platform arogi.gov was launched .gr through which those affected by the recent catastrophic fires will be able to apply for compensation.

Especially, as stated in the announcement of Ministry of Finance:

Through the platform, households, businesses and property owners affected by the fires that occurred in areas of the Greek Territory from July 27, 2021 and until August 13, 2021, they can submit an application, in order to be granted an extraordinary one-off financial aid, as first aid from the Ministry Finance.

THE EIGHT CHANGES OF THE NEW REAL ESTATE LAW – DEADLINE UNTIL 12/31/22 FOR PRIVATE REAL ESTATE REGISTRATION!

With a total of 119 articles it was published in the Government Gazette, (with number 4821/2021 No. FEK 134, Issue A 31 July 2021) and the law of the Ministry of Digital Governance comes into force, with title “Modernization of the Greek Land Registry, new digital services and strengthening of digital governance and other provisions”, voted last week in the Parliament.

By of the 119 articles, 55 are related to the Land Registry, while the other 66 articles of the new law are related to legislative regulations of other subjects and other ministries, such as the Environment and Energy (for RES on islands, delegation of energy saving responsibilities to the TEE, etc. ) Interior, Finance (ENFIA, debt arrangements, etc.) Culture, Interior, Health, Civil Protection, etc.

RENT REDUCTION: THE CADS OF FILLED BUSINESSES FOR JULY 2021!

Decision A.1167/2021 regarding the determination of affected businesses for the mandatory exemption from the obligation to pay the total rent for the month was published in the Official Gazette July 2021. With this decision, the non-payment of rent is limited to a few categories of businesses, for which various measures limiting their activity are still in effect. In this decision, there is no rent exemption for catering and retail, no partial payment of rents, nor a reduction of residential rents, and therefore the tenants have to proceed with an undecided payment of full rents. THE DEADLINE FOR INITIAL STATEMENTS AND CORRECTIONS OF PROPERTY OWNERS COMPENSATION IS UNTIL AUGUST 27!

Responding once again to the proposals and continuous requests of POMIDA, AADE has announced that the deadline for submitting initial declarations and corrections of wrongful compensations of property owners as well as lease solutions is being extended until Friday, August 27, 2021.

Specifically, the decision A.1168/2021 with the which is an extension of the deadlines of par. 2 of article 9, par. 8 of article 11 and par. 4 and 5 of article 12 of the decision of the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority under data POL.1162/2018 “Submission of Information Declaration of Real Estate Lease Details using an electronic method of communication via the Internet” (Β’ 3579). The decision provides for the following in detail:

POMIDA TO MINISTERS FOR REAL ESTATE CONTRACTS: THE RE-OPERATION OF THE MUNICIPAL TAX DECLARATION PLATFORM IS URGENT!

POMIDA sent a letter to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the KEDE, with which it requests the immediate re-operation of the KEDE municipal fees declaration platform, as well as the resolution of the following important problems concerning the OTA and private real estate:

The immediate and permanent reopening of the KEDE online platform, as a permanent channel of communication and service for property owners in the country and of Hellenism Abroad with the Municipalities where their assets are located, to which should be added all other services that can be operated online.
