Especially, with the two Ministerial Decisions signed by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Nikos Tagaras:
- the launch of the Electronic Register is foreseen,
- the procedure for registering the buildings is defined /self-paying divided properties on the digital platform of the Electronic Building Identity with the required supporting documents, as well as
- the time of updating the data, the format as well as the technical characteristics of the forms Electronic Identity and the Certificate of Completion of the Identity of a Building/Separate Property.
With the Electronic Identity of a Building/Separate Property through the electronic platform of the TEE, are gathered in one certificate, the Certificate of Completion, all the necessary elements and information of a of property with the result:
- To prevent the creation of a new generation of arbitrary.
- To shield citizens’ property, as they will be registered all possible changes to the property. In this way, transparency in legal transactions (transfers) is also achieved.
- To drastically reduce bureaucracy as the citizen-owner, having a digital “x-ray” of his property, does not need to rush for any document in public services. Now, with a few “clicks” on the computer, he will be able to receive the required information (e.g. title deeds, building permit, property declaration in the Land Registry, etc.).
- The State obtains a record of its properties with important information (on static adequacy, structural vulnerability, etc.), so that the required interventions can be planned.
- Investments should be accelerated, as with digitized real estate information (buildings or plots/fields), drastically shortens the time for investigating and examining them by prospective investors.
The Deputy Minister of Environment and of Energy, Nikos Tagaras, who will participate in the 38th Panhellenic Conference of POMIDA stated:
“Through the Electronic Building Identity/Autonomous Divided Ownership, our country is changing the page regarding the recording of the building stock. Digitally, through the TEE platform, the recording of all buildings – old and new, public and private – is carried out in terms of transparency in an electronic system of daily monitoring and updating.
The benefit is multiple. And for the owners, and for the environment and for the economy. First of all, with the Electronic Identity of a Building/Autonomous Divided Property, a significant disincentive to future irregularities is introduced as only with its acquisition will the arrangement of the irregularities be considered complete.
