SUBJECT: Resolving outstanding problems of forced reductions and subletting of properties.
Dear Mr. Ministers, Mr Governors,
In view of the looming end of forced rent reductions, all the problems that have been created and concern real estate landlords should be addressed, without the immediate resolution of which is impossible both the submission of income tax returns and the payment of this year’s tax obligations of property owners. The main problems that need immediate resolution are the following:
- The “advance” payment of compensation for the month of May 2021 should be made.
- To issue and publish the decision on the KAD for the month of June 2021.
- To announce if and what will apply in this matter during the month of July 2021.
- To open the implementation of AADE for retrospective corrections of leases and for initial declarations and corrections of the COVID period both for the period March-October 2020, and mainly for the months of January 2021 and onwards.
- To announce the implementation details and deadlines of the recent circular for the real estate subleases and to open the application for submitting the relevant declarations.
- In this problem, an important prerequisite is that each of the three parties of these relationships (lessor – sublessor – sublessee) can be informed of what they have makes the other parties relevant, without invoking tax secrecy, so that each party can exercise its rights. Also, in every statement of subletting a property, contractual or arbitrary, the lessor-owner of the property should be informed.
- To complete all outstanding corrections of errors, payments and compensation offsets of the lessors, even with installments of settled debts.
- To grant an extension until 31.12.2021 for the declaration of dissolution of the of inactive real estate leases.
- To facilitate the completion of the E2 real estate with forced rent reductions, to explicitly allow the total of annual rents to be entered on one line of the form.
