Especially, in the relevant amendment-addition (Article 4) that was included in the S/N of the Ministry of Justice, paragraph 2 of article 102 (law 4623/2019 – A’ 134) is formulated as follows:
“2. For the areas declared under cadastral registration before the entry into force of Law 3481/2006 (A’ 162), the exclusive deadline of paragraph a of paragraph 2 of Article 6 of Law 2664/1998, if it had not expired itself or its extensions until 30.11.2018, expires on 31.12.2023. The above deadline also applies to the areas in which the first registrations were registered from 1.1.2013 to 31.12.2014. Exceptionally, for the areas that were declared under cadastral registration before the entry into force of Law 3481/2006 (A’ 162), at the entry into force of Law 4623/2019 (A’ 134) they were still under cadastral registration and did not the deed confirming the completion of the land registration and the decision to enter into force of the Land Registry had been issued, the exclusive deadline of para. a of par. 2 of article 6 of Law 2664/1998 expires on December 31 of the year in which eight (8) are completed years from the date of entry into force of the Land Registry”.
MINISTERIAL AMENDMENT 1454-118 08.11.2022 RULE OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE
On the occasion of the extension of the deadline for correcting the initial registrations in areas which were declared subject to land registration before the entry into force of Law 3481/2006, the Deputy Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament for Western Attica, Mr. Giorgos Kotsiras, stated the following:
“The decision to extend the deadline for correcting the original records in areas that were under the process of land registration was also a request of the local bodies in Western Attica. With the relevant amendment tabled in the Draft Law of the Ministry of Justice, our fellow citizens are now given the opportunity and the time frame to seamlessly proceed with the corrections of the original land registrations at the competent land offices”.
