POMIDA carried out a series of informative events and contacts in Northern Greece and Thessaly from February 26 to March 1, 2024 in collaboration with the local its unions and local bodies (TEE Thrace and Bar Associations), for the information of property owners but also lawyers, notaries, engineers, tax experts, brokers, insurers, etc., in view of the recent legislative developments concerning private real estate, real estate leases, real estate transactions, land registration, construction, capital and income taxation and home insurance. A group of POMIDA participated with its President Mr. Stratos Paradia, its Vice President Mr. Costas Haidoutis, the Tax Consultant Mr. Theodoros Siozios, the Insurance Consultant Mr. Nikos Kehagiaoglou and other executives, and with the following program:
Monday 26/2: Volos, Information Meeting of the Association Volos Real Estate Owners (Chairwoman Ms. Lia Kratira), 6.00 p.m. Forum Conference Center (Deligiori 9). The Parliamentary Representative of New Democracy, Member of Parliament for Magnesia, Mr. Christos Boukoros, who spoke about his long-term actions to solve the problems of property owners in Magnesia, and the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis attended the meeting and took the floor in turn and Civil Protection, Member of Parliament for Magnesia Mr. Christos Triandopoulos who referred to the government policy for solving the problems created by the recent catastrophic phenomena for the property owners of Magnesia and Thessaly in general.

The topics of the events were as follows:
- Property taxation: Income tax, ENFIA, objective real estate values.
- House rentals: The problem and the only solution: POMIDA’s proposal for a three-year tax exemption for house rentals that were vacant in 2023!
- Housing policy: Government measures to support primary residence housing.
- Land Registry-Contracts: The necessary changes to facilitate transactions.
- Short-term housing leases: The new tax and other regulations.
- Urban planning legislation : Off-plan construction, building identity, category 5 arrangement.
- Energy upgrading of buildings: “SAVE”, photovoltaic subsidy, heat pumps.
