It is noted that the Ministry of the Interior, after the persistent requests of POMIDA, and the relevant statement of the Minister of the Ministry of the Interior Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis<\/strong>at its 37th Conference (January 2020 in EBEA) proceeded with a reformation of the forest maps, giving from last spring to the interested owners, natural and legal persons, OTAs, public services, agencies, etc., the possibility to submit data concerning actions of the administration or data of individual administrative acts, which prove which areas have lost their forest character, in order to be excluded from the Forest Map. The data of the applications submitted by the interested citizens are integrated into the sanctioned or non-sanctioned forest maps and now the final phase of the posting for the final configuration of the forest maps is proceeding.<\/p>\n
The following procedure will result in which properties are definitively classified arbitrarily and demolished, which are preserved with a fine and which owners, when and how can declassify their lands, when they appeared as “forest” after the forest maps were posted, while it is not.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that against the decision of the Ministry of the Interior on the reformation of the forest maps, the hearing of the appeal of the GEOTEE, foresters and ecologists, is pending before the SC. >for the rejection of which POMIDA and the Association of Agricultural Property Owners have intervened. The outcome of this trial will be of decisive importance for the development and completion of the reformation of the forest maps and the fate of the objections and therefore the properties of approximately 200,000 owners from all over the country…<\/strong><\/p>\n
Instructions to the forestry services<\/strong><\/p>\n The decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the subject: “scheduling Forest Maps Posts” reports to the Forest Directorates of the Decentralized Administrations that “after our cooperation with your services and the Agency “Hellenic Land Registry”, for the implementation of the posting of the forest maps in application and the above related ones, as well as given the need for coordinated and escalating of the posting process, a relevant program was drawn up, which has as the attached table”.<\/p>\n In the relevant instructions of the decision of the Ministry of the Interior it is pointed out that “the considered forest map accompanied by the “historic orthophoto map” will be sent by the Agency “Hellenic Land Registry”, definitely at least one week before the scheduled posting date. At the same time, the above will be sent to the Department of Forestry Maps, Forestry, Census & Thematic Support of Public Rights of the Directorate of Forestry Projects & of Infrastructure of the General Directorate of Forests & Forest Environment. As an exception, the Forest Departments that are scheduled to post their respective forest maps on January 15, 2021 are not required to meet the above deadline, since they have already sent the considered and other data of the forest maps to be posted.<\/p>\n The approval as well as the decision to post the forest map will be notified electronically, immediately within the day of their issue, similarly above, to the Agency “Hellenic Land Registry”, and to the D\/ Department of Forestry & Infrastructure. In addition, special care should be taken to comply with the provisions of the decision (Chapter 2, paragraph 2.2 in relation) for the widest possible publication of the posting and the deadline for submitting objections. In this context, the above decision should be notified, without delay, to the neighboring OTAs. of the areas where the forest maps are posted. It is also noted that the territorial jurisdiction of the constituent SYADCHs, if there are more than one, extends and covers the entire area of \u200b\u200bposting the forest map for each of
